Please help make the parade a reality in 2014. The NJDPP is funded solely by the generousity of sponsors and donations.

The 4th New Jersey Disability Pride Parade & Celebration (NJDPP) will be held on Friday, October 3rd, in downtown Trenton, NJ. We are expecting 700+ people and organizations representing a wide variety of disabilities to march and roll from the State House to the post-parade celebration at in downtown Trenton on East Lafayette Street, between South Broad Street and South Warren Street.

The purpose of the New Jersey Disability Pride Parade & Celebration is to bring people, organizations and businesses together to celebrate pride with the disability community and to promote the belief that disability is a natural and beautiful part of human diversity while generating national awareness for the disability community.

The New Jersey Disability Pride Parade & Celebration is a grass-roots effort organized and hosted by the Alliance Center for Independence (ACI) with the support of the statewide disability community.

The Alliance Center for Independence (ACI) recognizes disability as a natural and beautiful part of human diversity. ACI is a 501(c)(3) community-based, grassroots organization that supports and promotes independent living for people with disabilities in Middlesex, Union and Somerset counties in New Jersey.
ACI provides information and referral services and develops and implements educational programs and innovative activities that promote activism, peer support, health and wellness, employment and independent living skills for people with disabilities and their allies. ACI supports the philosophy of independent living for all persons with disabilities.
