I am excited and honored to be running the 2017 Boston Marathon in support of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. My late grandfather, Fred Thompson, lived with MS for many years and I saw how it impacted both him and my family. I hope that through this effort and your support, we can improve the quality of life for people affected by MS and raise funds for critical research. To learn more about the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, please visit their webpage here.
Keep in mind that many companies, including John Hancock, match donations. If you submit a matching gift, please be sure to include my name in the notes so the gift can be credited properly.
Thank you so much for your contribution. Your generosity and kindness will carry me across the finish line on April 17, 2017!
