No More Long Commute

People's average commute time in GTA is ~40 mins one way, x 2 for a round trip, x 5 days a week, x 50 weeks a year, we are spending 333 hours in commute each year! There have been too many new initiatives from the government - federal, provincial, municipal - to build better and more transit system, to fight congestion, so that the commute time can be decreased by 5 mins... Why? why do they waste such a significant amount of tax payer's money to improve our life soo little? why do they not look at the root cause? When I drive on the highways (401, QEW, etc.) during peak time (to and from work), the congestion is in both directions. What does that mean - there are people that live in the West but work in the East, and at the same time there are people that live in the East but work in the West! So why do we not make a switch? let people who live in the West work in the West too and so forth. So I am going to start a non-for-profit organization to do that! there is no billions of capital investments required, just a job matching service but designed for those who want to work closer to home to switch similar jobs from each other. I am going to give my best to pilot this idea for 3 months with the funds raised. If it shows potential, I will come back for more funding. First 3 month funding breakdown: - business registration $250 - website development $1,000 - telephone $300 - legal fee $1,000 - travel $300 - advertisement $2,000 - other MISC $150 Total $5,000
