Noah's Arc is a wildlife sanctuary in Ohio. We are looking to expand our services by developing a 45 acre property into a natural sanctuary where people can come visit the animals and learn about the native Ohio species.

Noah's Arc has a small collection of native Ohio animals that we use to educate children about local wildlife and the importance of wildlife conservation.  We talk to the students about protecting their natural environments and how each contributes to the ecosytem.  We also rehabilitate wild animals that are either injurred or orphaned and release them back to the wild.

We are currently working on building new enclosures in a much larger space where the animals can exhibit their natural behavior and be shown to larger audiences from all over the state.  The plan is develop a green facility with recycling, composting and renewable energy sources such as wind and solar.

A new area that Noah's Arc is seeking to develop is an animal therapy program designed and managed by our licensed therapists.  Although different in scope from the education and rehabilitation projects, Noah's Arc believes that the mental health of children can be greatly impacted with the use of animals.  Since the animals that we use for education are not tame enough to be used in therapy we are looking to use miniature horses to start this new program.
