No body gets out of this alive!
Organized by: Monte Lowdon
Nobody gets out of this alive! We all have to go some time; I can accept that. What I can't accept is leaving my wife and family debt burdened beyond their ability to pay.
Due to several rather serious medical issues, Coronary Heart Disease, Hepatitis B, COPD, and prostrate issues, I can not get life insurance. What insurance I might be able to get I can’t afford. Can you imagine, Insurance companies feel I'm a bad risk!
We have two (2) grown children, they have provided us four (4) wonderful grandchildren. Our children work at good jobs but, as is always the case, they don't make enough money. Who does in this day and age? So we have helped where we could. We have some major credit card debt to prove it!
Beyond normal living expenses, we now have hefty medical insurance payments, prescriptions to buy (I literally take a handful every morning and every night), co-payments for doctors, co-payments for hospital, and more. It seems like every time we leave our house it cost us more! Ever feel like that? Debts just keep adding up, and then up again. No real solution in sight. As we are both retired and on fixed incomes, our spending ability is limited.
I am not a particularly religious person, but the bible phrase "Ask and you shall receive", keeps coming to mind. For a long time now, I wake up with this quote on my mind. My wife and I have prayed for help and guidance.
We now turn to the generosity of others.
With all the medical issues, I think my time is short. I love my family and do not want to burden them if there's a way to avoid it. Our total debt at this time is somewhere between 180K to 200K! "Ask and you shall receive", I'm now asking, will you please help us?
Bankruptcy is truly not an option. We are proud, honest people. We never expected to be in this position. Life just happens. It's usually us giving so it's not easy to ask others for help, but it's help we need now. Will you please donate and help us be free? Every penny is sincerely appreciated!
