I love Crossfit, Brooklyn, and helping others out. So what better way to do all than by participating in Fight Gone Bad??

All the proceeds of this fundraiser go to the Brooklyn Community Foundation, which is a fantastic organization. They have funded projects all over Brooklyn in a broad spectrum. They're everywhere. Just to name a few types of projects they have funded: children's arts programs, emergency food providers, affordable housing, career placement, park and community garden creation, and after-school tutoring.
-- Fight Gone Bad --
This is a Crossfit workout with 5 exercises. You spend 1 minute on each exercise, then move on. There are 3 rounds with a 1-minute break in between rounds.
I'm on an awesome team called "Thruster? I Hardly Know Her!". (It's a bad joke about a not-fun exercise.) We're going up against 20+ other teams for the most points possible!
The exercises are:
* Wallball: Throwing a 14-pound medicine ball against a 10-foot target. 1 point for each hit.
* Sumo deadlift barbell high-pull 55 pounds: 1 point for each rep.
* Box Jump with a 20" box: 1 point for each jump.
* Barbell push press, 55 pounds: 1 point for each rep.
* Rowing machine: 1 point for each calorie burned
