THE STORY:

www.nonviolence.rocks www.thelinkgirls.club www.hugsnotslugs.org 10,000 REAL STORIES…..TO PRODUCE 10,000 “REAL-WORLD” CAREERS TO SAVE 10,000 “REAL” LIVES! Introducing the L.I.N.K. S.M.A.R.T. Girls, and these diverse young ladies from different countries and different cultures, former victims of abuse and violence themselves, have gotten together to speak one language in one voice…….STOP THE MADNESS….STOP THE VIOLENCE…… STOP THE ABUSE….. STOP IT NOW! L.I.N.K. S.M.A.R.T. is an acronym for Life-skills-Income -N-Know-how to Stop Mutilations-Abuse and Rapes Together! Putting the power to control their lives and their future in their hands…not on them! Empowering young women and girls to say NO to violence and abuse….and Yes to reading, leading, careers, self-esteem, empowerment and succeeding! Although it’s extremely difficult, some might say impossible, to put a positive spin or face on a story dealing with violence and abuse against women and girls…….a group of entrepreneurial action oriented young girls have done an incredible job of making the very best of a very bad situation to craft a happy ending to a normally terrible and tragic story! Our Mission: The LINK’s mission is to utilize various 21st century social, print and digital media, to fight global abuse and violence against girls and women, and to make our world a safer, happier, more promising and rewarding place for young women and girls, through their personal, career and life-skills development and training, and self-esteem and empowerment building and growth. Utilizing the empowering and need to be told “Real-Life” stories of a minimum of 10,000 victims of violence and abuse as our foundational content base, we will develop digital-print and social media content and merchandise, that will be leveraged to identify, select, develop and train 10,000 plus female participants per year in over 200 well paying 21st century career job areas…thus saving a minimum of 10,000 lives by providing them with guaranteed jobs and 21st century career and life-skills! The L.I.N.K. Workshop, a cooperative partnership between TLP Media and Edulabs Global, Inc., is a unique all female reality-based social-print and digital media development concept, that actually incorporates real people, situations and places into “Real-Life” story lines and situations. In addition, The L.I.N.K. Workshop works with urban and rural communities in America and global communities around the world, to train its young women and girls in the creation, development and marketing of these various social-print and digital media, on a national as well as an international level. TLP seeks to instill self-esteem, empowerment, rewarding career opportunities and hope for a successful future for all young women and girls. OUR OBJECTIVE The L.I.N.K. Workshop will initially conduct virtual online comic book-based/animated, mobile app, e-learning module and web page development workshops and life and career skills training workshops for the young women and girls throughout the world. The plan is to eventually expand this workshop concept live in various communities throughout America, and subsequently in countries around the world. Utilizing the talents of SME’s, celebrities, subject matter experts from various areas, I.T. experts, local artists and graphic designers, we will teach marketable career skills in a very fun, exciting, innovative and effective manner. The L.I.N.K. Workshop seeks to empower its participants with an “I can do it!” attitude, by instilling in them hope for a bright and rewarding future – once they say no to violence and abuse, believe in themselves, stay in school, and stay away from early teen pregnancies, drugs, gangs and other non-productive activities. AFTER THE WORKSHOP The L.I.N.K. TLC seeks to recruit female participants to become members of The L.I.N.K. Workshop Empowerment Club who say no to abuse and violence, early teen pregnancies, drugs, gangs, illiteracy and low self-esteem – and yes to self-esteem, empowerment, education, life and career skills development and training. One of goals of The L.I.N.K. Workshop is to recruit young women and girls who are interested in continued work with our company. These female participants will continue to be trained and/ or will be given assignments, such as working on ongoing projects, starting new projects, or on our social-media driven monthly (weekly on the Internet) newsletter, webcast, vidcast and radiocast; THE L.I.N.K. Another goal is to involve the local communities where these youth live in viable and prosperous entrepreneurial business activities. We seek to build bridges between local area businesses, corporations and organizations and our female participants. SUMMARY THE L.I.N.K.. Workshop believes that every young woman and girl is at risk if they lack one of the following: (1) an ongoing relationship with a caring parent and/or role model; (2) a safe, violence and abuse free environment to learn, grow and prosper in; (3) positive self-images that build self-esteem and empowerment; and (4) marketable job and career skills (5) Available and attainable equal “Real-World” opportunities to utilize the skills that they have learned and earned through workshops such as our and through other means. To assure superior effectiveness of our efforts, it is important that communities, businesses, corporate entities and individuals involve themselves in vigorous support of this unique opportunity to really make a profound and lasting difference in the lives of our nation’s young women and girls. And lastly, it’s all about fun, learning and earning! Young women of all ages love our workshops for their exciting, challenging, educational and fun-filled venues. The combined attributes of our (all female) social-print and digital media experts and our youthful female participants, will act as a great catalyst, self-esteem building and empowering motivator in encouraging our female participants to excel, and to take pride in themselves and their community. The L.I.N.K. TLC looks forward to working with any and all local and global communities to offer positive and rewarding alternatives to and for our participants, once they just say no to violence, abuse and the many other negative ills of our society that confront them on a daily basis. www.nonviolence.rocks www.thelinkgirls.club www.hugsnotslugs.org
