Hi, I'm Garet. For the last 12 years I've been working on a special software algorithm which allows infinite precision of curved manifolds without using pi.
Basically we're talking circles, spheres, high-dimensional curves, complex force trajectories. Crazy stuff like that. No pi, no sin/cos/tan. Just plain old algebra creating a special n-dimensional plotting algorithm.
If my goal is reached I'll also release a small (free) ebook detailing the measurement of various infinities and redefining pi as a funky kind of ratio using classical algebra and a range function/loop.
This ought to be impossible according to Pi's supposed transcendental properties but turns out not so much. In the research paper I go into detail as to why these properties exist in the first place and how we can simplify the whole mess in the future. Thanks computers!
And thank you anyone helping the release of this breed of mathematics. Colleagues I've spoken with suggest we might be able to reduce multiple fields together very cleanly using this family of equations.
