Help our team support Northern Voices, a non-profit education center for young children with hearing loss!
When I first heard about the Kannonball Fun Charity Rally, I was disappointed to find out that all 125 spots were taken. As luck would have it, there was a cancelation so I was able to get in. I'm glad I'm able to help support Northern Voices because not only does Tyler Christopherson have a child there, my friends Nate and Allison Berg have two kids enrolled there as well.
Alex and Max were preemies and shortly after birth, Max was found to have severe-profound hearing loss. The Berg's were shocked, scared, and sad after the initial diagnosis. These are adjectives that no longer describe their feelings about Max's hearing loss. The Berg's dove into the world of hearing loss head-on. They have met wonderful people in the Deaf and hard of hearing community, learned ASL, and became part of a family at Northern Voices. Max (and Alex) have been attending Northern Voices since the Fall of 2016. Since that time, they have watched and listened as Max's language exploded! They blame most of Max's inability to be quiet to the wonderful work by the teachers and staff at Northern Voices ? And for that they are truly grateful!
Please help me in supporting Northern Voices! Harper, Max, Alex and all the rest at Northern Voices would appreciate it!
EDIT: I have decided to spice things up a bit: I'm going to have a raffle for a $75 voucher for use in my business, Triple S Woodcrafts. I make wood bowls, pens, cutting boards, bottle openers, cutting boards and many more items. The voucher is good for in stock merchandise or I can custom make something for you. Check out my website here: www.tripleswoodcrafts.com to get an idea of what items I make.
A $10 donation to Northern Voices will count for one entry while a $25 donation will count for 3 entries. I will conduct a drawing for the $75 voucher on June 4.
Remember, all donations go to Northern Voices School!
