Northwest Boxer Rescue (NWBR) believes that every boxer deserves a chance to live a happy life in a loving home. Abandoned or homeless Boxers will always find shelter, medical care, and ultimately a new home through the efforts of NWBR. By working with committed volunteers and local veterinarians we are able to rescue boxers every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them perfect loving forever homes. Working in conjunction with city and county groups, NWBR strives to educate the public and help end animal overpopulation and needless suffering. The commitment to share the love of Boxers is never ending.
We never discriminate on the basis of health or age. Our animals are evaluated, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and receive any necessary medical treatment before they are placed in carefully screened homes. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.
This is a place where any boxer can find a forever home and feel loved. We have always known that there are so many boxers that need homes. We are a non-profit no kill rescue. We work with boxers all over Washington State, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and California. We are now a strong group of boxer families who want nothing more than to see a wiggle butt in a warm house, or a snoring dog who was kept in shelter now on the lap of a loving family member. We keep all the dogs in foster homes, not kennels, cages or shelters. These foster dogs are either in our home or someone who has a love for boxers. We treat each foster dogs as if they are our own.
