COLLEGE APPASSIST INCORPORATED wrote -
Five members of College App Assist are generously taking part in a corageous effort to let their beards grow wild for the entire month of November. In return for their efforts, they hope to raise money to support the organization and its cause. The participants, as shown from left to right in the pictures, are: Jonah Frey, Andrew Keuler, Ryan Smith, Matt Lee, and Fred Schmidt.
All funds raised will directly help students from under-served Boston-area high schools achieve their college aspirations. Funding is used to help the mentees in our program pay for college applications, SAT/ACT study materials, textbooks, notebooks, and other necessary schooling supplies. College AppAssist, CAA, helps students with all steps of the college application process during their junior and senior years of high school. The mission of CAA is to create a new class of first generation college graduates through social, emotional, and educational mentorship. To do this, volunteer mentors work alongside their high school student to identify, prepare and apply to post-secondary educational institutions with the intention of helping the mentees find the pathway to bright futures.
