Nursing Students' Chapter of Mtaala Foundation (NSCMF) wrote -
NSCMF is an all volunteer group started by students from an accelerated nursing program in Philadelphia, PA. The group works with the Mtaala Foundation, a small, grassroots charity that supports educational communities for Ugandan children affected by a brutal civil war, orphaned by the HIV/AIDs epidemic, and living daily in abject poverty. Visit www.mtaala.org for more information.
Touched by the difficult circumstances in which these children and their families live, we have come together, as aspiring nurses, to share our love and care with them from afar.
Our current goal is to raise enough money to complete the construction of a clinic in Kigo village, Uganda. The clinic, the first in the village, will serve as health education center and provide badly needed treatment for potentially fatal diseases like malaria. Imagine: it costs only $10 to buy a mosquito net to prevent this deadly disease, but many families can’t afford it for their children.
We are committed to making a difference and ask you to join us. Please donate to our cause today. All donations to Mtaala Foundation are tax-deductible.
NSCMF is open to the entire public. Anybody can become a member and start raising money for this great cause. Join in and invite your family and friends to the team.
From us and the children,
Thank you, thank you!
