On behalf of NOVA Southeastern University's United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) organization and in partnership with Pre-Med society, We would like to ask if you would be willing to donate towards UNICEF’s Annual Trick-or-Treat initiative. Working in over 190 countries and territories, UNICEF is a global humanitarian relief organization providing children with health care, clean water, nutrition, education, emergency relief, and more.
Despite extraordinary progress, 17,000 children still die each day from preventable causes. Our mission is to do whatever it takes to make that number zero by giving children the essentials for a safe and healthy childhood.
Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, the original kids helping kids, is an annual Halloween campaign that empowers, educates, and inspires children in the U.S. to make a difference in the lives of their peers around the globe.
What started out more than 60 years ago in 1950 to help children abroad after World War II has evolved into a revolution driven by kids. For many kids, it was their first introduction to the realities countless children endure every day as they struggle to survive in the face of disease, disasters, and other hardships. Just as important – Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF introduces many children and adults to the idea that they can make a difference in the world by volunteering in service to others.
We can not do this without your help. Let us unite forces and make a difference TODAY!
