For 17 years, hundreds of deserving kids have attended this 10 day overnight camp, at no cost to their families, a policy to which we are deeply committed. WE RELY 100% ON THE GENEROSITY OF OUR DONORS WHO GIVE IN AMOUNTS RANGING FROM $25 TO $10,000. 

SUMMER STARS CAMP FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS IS DEVOTED TO PROVIDING ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN, AGES 12 - 17, WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO DISCOVER THEMSELVES AND THEIR POTENTIAL THROUGH THE PERFORMING ARTS.

What makes this opportunity so valuable is that Summer Stars provides these children not only a respite from the realities of life, but a life-changing experience. By meeting other kids with the same interests, by working with a caring staff that holds them to the highest standards, they learn that working hard makes it possible for them to get places they never thought possible. They take these standards, this work ethic, and a renewed sense of self-worth into all facets of their lives.

One of the many reasons our alumni are so dedicated to Summer Stars is because they say they learn more in a week than they do in a school year, and in the safest of environments in all senses of the word. You just can't imagine how grateful these kids and the amazingly talented, hard working staff are!!
