BENEFITING: American Red Cross
EVENT DATE: Nov 04, 2012
For the past six months I have been focused on training for the New York City Marathon, taking place on November 4, 2012.
In light of Hurricane Sandy and the toll it has taken on the Greater New York Area, I want to make my run more meaningful and help the city get back on its feet.
As part of my marathon experience, I am putting together a last-minute fundraiser for the American Red Cross and its efforts to help the area recover from this tragedy.
While the race is less than 72 hours away, I am looking to raise $500 for the recovery effort. Your donation is 100% tax-deductible and will be used immediately to aid those who were impacted by the storm.
If you are running this weekend I wish you the best of luck. If you will be in the city to watch the race, look out for me. Orange bib #47285, 10:30am start.
