NYIT Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

Hi there!

NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine wants to make a significant impact in the fight against breast cancer this year! We have recently started a fundraising team (NYITCOM at A-State) on the Susan G. Komen website to help raise money for breast cancer research.

Please consider joining our team and/or if you can’t walk with us, please consider a small donation (link above).  With your support, you help us get closer to the Susan G. Komen Goal:  to reduce the current number of breast cancer deaths by 50% in the U.S, within the next decade!

Breast cancer has personally affected the lives of so many people -- Personally, my aunt was recently a survivor of breast cancer, so the cause is especially near and dear to me.

We want to help Susan G. Komen save lives and end breast cancer forever. We are taking the first step towards a world without breast cancer by raising funds to stop this disease that affects 1 in 8 women during their lifetime. As the world’s largest and most impactful breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen funds more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit, while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.

Please check out our team page and if possible, consider donating to support finding the cure for this terrible disease that has likely touched each and every one of us!

On behalf of all the students at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, thank you!!!
