THE STORY:

The FIRST EVER NYC SOCIAL INNOVATION FESTIVAL takes place on Feb 26-March 8, 2015.

For 10 days over 2 consecutive weekends, the Festival will move through all five boroughs engaging business & civic leaders, city government, residents and the local community at 7 centers of social innovation.

Our mission for the Festival is to bring the greater New York problem-solving community together to build a better NYC for all New Yorkers. Together, we can solve more challenges than apart.

The 7 events focus on critical NYC issues like job creation, small business growth, financial inclusion, affordable housing, quality healthcare, and innovations in education.

The program features: Entrepreneurs who are innovating solutions to social, economic and environmental challenges in New York City's underserved communities.

Each event presents an in-depth panel discussion on a critical local issue along with interactive crowd participation. Have an idea for how to make NYC better? Make your voice heard. Bring your ideas, support and enthusiasm and be part of the solution for a better New York.

Help make a BIG IMPACT in NYC with ANY donation from $10-$10,000.

Your tax deductible donation supports our mission-focused entrepreneurs, crowdsourced interactive discussions, NexGen solutions through our NYC public middle & high school student exhibits, local foodpreneurs, social good startups, and finding solutions that expand opportunities for NYC's underserved minority, immigrant and working poor neighborhoods.

Your NYCSIF support helps us build a connected, collaborative and effective social innovation community in New York.  This is only the beginning. Together, we can build a better New York City for everyone in it.

Special thanks to our nonprofit fiscal sponsor: "Bronx Technology Innovation Coalition" (Fordham Foundry, 400 East Fordham Rd, Bx, NY 10458), your donations are tax deductible.
