BENEFITING: NEW YORK SAYS THANK YOU FOUNDATION
Dear family and friends of NYSTY,
A couple of years ago, I took up running to “follow my bliss”, now aside from that I am lacing up my shoes everyday to prepare for the run of my life, the New York City Marathon this November 4th for NYSTY!!! My dear friends, I have been on every build project since our first and I have seen the impact we all make on people and communities we go to. Right now, I am asking for your help to raise money by simply clicking here so we can get just miles (26.2) closer to our next project.
Whether we go to ND, GA, IA; build a barn, a church or a home we need your help so that we may help others. Please go to the Crowdrise.com link and donate a few dollars for every mile I am going to in in a few weeks; donations must be made by November 2nd. Thank you so much…
“Follow your Bliss”
Tim Callahan, has be a long time supporter of New York Says Thank You, and will be running the NYC Marathon this year to help raise money for New York Says Thank You!
New York Says Thank You sends volunteers from New York City each year on the 9/11 Anniversary to help rebuild communities around the country affected by disasters. It is our way of commemorating the extraordinary love and generosity extended to New Yorkers by Americans from all across the United States in the days, weeks, and months following September 11th.
Recently we launched our newest initiative, The 9/12 Generation Project, which is a ten-year national youth service-learning initiative whose mission is to inspire and educate 1.5 million middle school and high school students with the positive lessons of humanity, kindness, and citizenship of 9/12 – the day after 9/11– when the Nation came together to help heal New York and those affected by the terror attacks.
