New Alternatives for Children (NAC)
NAC kids are NYC's most vulnerable children - those who have experienced or are at risk of abuse and neglect, live in poverty and have a profound disability or chronic illness. Our mission is to provide innovative high quality services in support of birth, foster, and adoptive families who are caring for these medically complex children. NAC’s services enable children to remain in or to be returned to their families whenever possible or to be adopted by loving families.
Today we're kicking off '10 Days of NAC' - in 2016 we had a ton of success and this year you can help us reach our goal of $40,000 by donating and sharing the campaign with your colleagues, friends and family. #10DaysofNAC is about a LOT of people giving a little to make a HUGE difference in the lives of NAC children. Any donation, no matter how small, helps.
$25 - helps NAC provide a week of groceries for a family in need
$50 - helps provide a social skills group for NAC children with autism
$100 - helps five NAC children get weekly tutoring
$250 - helps provide a year of college prep and mentoring for a NAC teen
$500 - helps to ensure that a NAC child in foster care gets adopted
Please help us spread the word that "NAC Kids Can"!
