In October 2015 Tom "Uncle Bear" Safford Sr. lost his battle with cancer; for 40-plus years he worked hard in the trucking industry to serve the needs of the American public. We have decided to memorialize his efforts through a not-for-profit truck show and shine event. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. This is a Non-Judged show/shine gathering intended to shine positive light on the men and women that make up our great industry and give folks outside the industry a look at the tools we use to move America! We also hope to bring together experienced drivers with new drivers and provide a venue for sharing knowledge gained through experience the way Tom did so often. This event will be held at the General Clinton Park in Bainbridge, NY on Saturday September 9, 2017. Gates open at 8:00 am- All participating trucks should in place by 11:00am.
