I'm Bob Mohr an HIV positive USMC veteran in recovery! There is a stigma that is connected to addicts and alcoholics and being an HIV positive addict in recovery I have felt it all too often! I'm here to say recovery does and can happen! I've joined this Ultra running team to help raise awareness and funds to help those that are reaching out and asking for help! I in no way profit from these funds I'm here to share my story to run races with others that are in recovery and share our journey of hope and let those no that recovery can, does, and will happen if you make that right choice every day! I'm very excited about this opportunity to share a gift that was so freely given to me! Any amount donation will be greatly appreciated! We have to give to receive! Thank you! With God all things are possible! The mission of The Herren Project is to provide assistance in taking the first steps toward recovery and a life of sobriety, educational programs and resources to increase awareness on the signs of addiction and bring hope for a better tomorrow. . THE HERREN PROJECT Founded in 2011 by former professional basketball player Chris Herren, The Herren Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, dedicated to providing treatment navigation to families affected by addiction, prevention and education initiatives and mentoring programs.
