For a lot of us, cancer has touched our lives in some way. And for all of those that have been affected by it in some way, we know that cancer is a terrible and ugly thing. When my Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Melanoma, I was at a lost for what to do. I didn’t know how to help; as I am sure may of you can relate. That’s where the idea of Bob’s Beer Run came from. My family and I couldn’t take his cancer away. We couldn’t cure him or the millions with cancer, but we could fundraise for the American Cancer Society.
We have been doing this event for several year now. Each year it gets better and bigger. And on top of that, my Dad (the "Bob" of Bob Beer Run) continues to get better. He has been cancer free for a couple of years now. So proud of this fight and those that have continued to support him!!
I am hoping to raise $5,000 this year. It is an aggressive goal, but I believe in us. Thank you for helping the American Cancer Society help those affected by cancer.
For those of you that would like to participate in the actual Bob's Beer Run event on June 23rd, please reach out to me (Stephanie Palladino) and I will get you all the details.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
