Story

Why Jr. Beanpot?

Two years ago, for my Bar Mitzvah project, I started the Jr. Beanpot because of my love for hockey. I chose the Travis Roy Foundation as my charity because of Travis' connection to hockey.

I have continued to support the TRF because of Travis. He is an amazing and inspiring person. Every time I am with him, I reflect on how lucky I am. Travis has shown me how you can take a tragedy like his and find purpose and do good with it.

My Goal

With your help, we can change people's lives. I want to help Travis with his mission to find a cure for spinal cord injury and help those who are injured. My goal is for each player in the tournament to raise at least $200. Together, we can make a huge impact.

Our Partner

I am partnering with Positive Tracks, an organization that teaches young people how to sweat for good. In addition to providing hands-on guidance and helping me organize, they’re doubling my dollars to support the Travis Roy Foundation up to $300.
