The 2019 Boston Marathon marks my tenth consecutive year running the Boston Marathon for Golf Fights Cancer. Cancer has touched my life in many ways over this period as I've lost my dad, Mike McCloud, my aunt, Donna Lawlor, my uncle, Brian Lawler, and my aunt, Patti Porter all to cancer under the age of sixty. In late 2018 one of my closest friends father was diagnosed with cancer and this year I will run the race in his honor, as he currently fights the disease.
My hope is to make a small difference in the fight against cancer and honor the memory of those closest to me who have lost their battle or continue to fight the battle. As a board member of GFC, its an honor to be part of such a meaningful organization that makes such a difference in the fight against cancer.
To help me in my fight against cancer I ask you to make a donation, over these past nine years I've raised $180k and this year I look to break the $200k mark in donations! Thanks for your consideration
