Imagine growing up with a spectacularly beautiful, historically significant natural park right in the heart of your city. Now imagine that because of a lack of resources, language barriers, poor transportation options, and the city's bad reputation, you never got a chance to see the park, or learn about why it's so special. This is what is happening in Paterson, New Jersey today.
The Hamilton Partnership for Paterson works with the National Park Service, local nonprofits and businesses, and different government agencies to maximize not only access to the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, but also the positive impact the national park can have on the community. Through community events, educational programs, park tours, and civic engagement programs, we are helping to turn Paterson into a place where people want to visit, live, study, work, and invest.
