I was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer in my right leg when I was 17 years old. Thanks to the support of my family and amazing medical care I am now 2 years post-treatment and doing well. Last summer I was granted the opportunity to obtain a wish from the Vermont Make-A-Wish Foundation. My dream of a classic Martin guitar came true thanks to Make-A-Wish and to make it even more special the guitar was given to me by the famous musical star Grace Potter, a home grown Vermont rock star. I want to give back to this fabulous organization for everything Make-A- Wish has done for me as well as for the many friends I have met these past two years who are facing challenges like me, who also have had the opportunity to be granted a wish. Unfortunately, there are more kids who will be facing a life-threatening illness and if I can raise some money to help support their wish I will be grateful. Please support this amazing cause. Although my beard may not be the best it probably will be the only wish-kid at the event with a beard!
