Altadena Children' Center will be hosting our annual fundraising gala, It Takes A Community, on April 13, 2019. Our theme this year is Building Community in celebration of our honorees, the Orlandini Family of Altadena Hardware, which has been serving the Altadena community and beyond for over 80 years.
Established by the family of Don Thomas and owned with his wife Shirley Harrington, the business was sold in 2010 to local residents, Jim and Paula Orlandini with their sons Jimmy and Rob. The Orlandini family has been in the hardware business for nearly five decades, having owned Newland Harware in El Sereno, Los Angeles for over 40 years - previously run by Jim Sr.'s father, Vince Orlandini. Jim Orlandini and his family have worked hard to serve the Altadena community and their commitment to the community is what makes them so special!!
ITAC plays a vital role in ensuring the school has the resources it needs to give the children of Altadena everything they need as they start their educational journey. Your sponsorship is critical.
