Kids from low-income families don't get the same educational opportunities as kids from better school districts, simply because of their zip code. Where you're from and how much money your family has affects the school you attend, and the education you get. More than 1.2 million students drop out of high school every year, many from low-income areas. And high school dropouts make up two-thirds of inmates. This is a problem.
