I first off want to thank you for clicking the page. Now I don’t want to keep you long so let's get right into it shall we? If you know me you know that I am not the biggest fan of traveling. However, on my bucket list I have down "mission trip" weird… I KNOW! Traveling … Mission trip how can it be right? Secondly, if you REALLY know me you should know my passion for advocating for those you have Autism. I work with kiddos and their families who have been diagnosis with Autism. I absolutely LOVE what I do and couldn’t imagine another career that doesn’t involve working with these amazing kids and their families. Now how do these two things tie together? Well let me tell you! I have been given an AMAZING opportunity to be part of the SkillCorps family and travel with them to Ecuador and be part of the Global Autism Project. Their vision is that one day we live in a world where all people with Autism are accepted by their communities. To get to that vision the SkillCorps family (that would be me) travels and prompts the acceptance and integration of people with Autism by training their communities in culturally relevant, sustainable practice. Now if you have stuck with me till this point I ask that you stick with me for just a little bit longer. This mission isn’t going to be possible without the help of you. By supporting me and donating you are supporting this movement but more importantly you are giving hope to families and helping to create a platform for advocacy and voice to the global autistic community. Help me make this vision possible and send me on my way to Ecuador by supporting me and donate to this movement that is near and dear to my heart. I want to thank you for taking the time but more importantly I want thank you from the very bottom of my heart for your support by donating and making this opportunity possible for me.
