I am so proud to be representing ALS ONE in the upcoming 2019 Boston Marathon! For those of you who know the Shifrin family, their family's battle with Brian's ALS diagnosis has been inspiring to so many. The spirit with which they have tackled such a difficult situation has been nothing short of incredible. From raising awareness and funds for ALS ONE, to doubling down on their commitments to family, friends and community service the Shifrin family have set an amazing example for the power of positivity in the face of adversity and dedication to making the world a better place for having been a part of it. I am humbled to be representing team #ShifStrong in the Boston Marathon. This will be my first marathon and I couldn't think of a venue that could mean more to me than Boston to attempt this and a more meaningful cause to support.
I am sure this won't be the first time you will see me reach out for support on my journey to the finish line in Boston in April, but it would mean so much to me and the entire ALS ONE community for your support along the way. Please consider showing your financial support and/or to educating yourselves on a terrible disease and an incredible organization whose mission is to "End ALS" by learning more about ALS ONE. Thank you!
