The Challenge: Home fires kill seven people every day in the U.S. More than 60% of fire-related deaths are in homes without working smoke alarms, and more than 5 million U.S. homes are without smoke alarms.
The Solution: September 29th and 30th, the American Red Cross of Greater Idaho is mobilizing to Sound the Alarm to reduce deaths and injuries from home fires by installing 1000 FREE smoke alarms in our community.
How You Can Help: A gift of any size helps prepare, respond, and help families recover from home fires. Your gift can literally help save a life and provide hope and urgent relief, like food, shelter, and other essentials, to people in their time of greatest need. Please support this important effort and encourage your family and friends to join you. Just share the link to this page and let your circle of compassionate friends know why this cause is important to you. Sound the Alarm. Save a Life. Thank you!
