In 1917, leaders in East Texas gathered together and established the Red Cross. Those first board members knew that we needed the Red Cross here and that has not changed. If anything, the Red Cross is needed now more than ever.
Every year hundreds of families turn to the Red Cross for assistance after losing everything in a home fire. In an effort to reduce death and injury due to home fires, we want you to help us Sound the Alarm in East Texas.
Join us in support of the Red Cross as they install more than 100,000 free smoke alarms in more than 100 major cities across the country, helping to save lives and lessen the number of tragedies attributed to home fires.
