AmTrust is helping those affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma
AmTrust is committed to providing our agents and insureds with the support they need to file claims and get back on their feet as soon as possible following Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
We also want to provide aid to others in the area who need help. AmTrust has committed $100,000 to help with local rebuilding after Hurricane Harvey, and another $100,000 to help with rebuilding after Hurricane Irma, at a corporate level. These funds will go to the First Nonprofit Foundation, a private grant-making organization, and certified 501c3 organization, that focuses on bolstering the nonprofit sector in the United States. AmTrust has been a long-time supporter of First Nonprofit Foundation.
First Nonprofit Foundation will identify and donate to nonprofits in the affected areas, to support mid-and-long term rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma, respectively. Employees will receive reports from First Nonprofit Foundation President and CEO Joe Geiger on how the funds are being allocated to organizations and institutions in need. Learn more about all of the deserving causes First Nonprofit Foundation has helped since being established in 2003 here.
Here’s how you can help – AmTrust will match employee donations to aid rebuilding effort up to another $100,000 for each hurricane to provide up to an additional $400,000 to deserving local nonprofits to help with Harvey and Irma recovery efforts. Donations made through September 30 will qualify for matching AmTrust donations.
and please include your AmTrust employee ID and email to confirm your donation so we can match it. At the bottom of the page, you’ll have the option to choose which storm’s rebuilding efforts you would like to contribute to. You’ll automatically receive a receipt for tax purposes.
Note –AmTrust will match employee contributions made through this campaign up to a total of $100,000 for each hurricane. If either campaign exceeds our $100,000 matching goal, any additional funds raised will go directly to the First Nonprofit Foundation for distribution to worthy local charities.
