This year, the University of Washington Beta-Psi Chatper and Washington State University Gamma-Mu Chapter will be hosting the 39th Annual Apple Cup Run, in support for the Seal Legacy Foundation.
Started in 1978, the Apple Cup Run is based around the Apple Cup game that is set for November 25th, 2017, at Husky stadium. The Gamma-Mu Chapter (WSU) will start the run from Martin Stadium, run ~150 miles, and hand the gameball to the Beta-Psi Chapter (UW), where they will run the rest of the ~150 miles, and complete the run at Husky Stadium.
The Apple Cup Run will raise funds to help support the SEAL Legacy Foundation (www.SEALLegacy.org). The SEAL Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded by SEALs in 2011 and provides vital support to SEALs and their families during loss, injury and other challenges. All funds raised will go towards the Honored SEAL Legacy Scholarship Program. This program awards annual Named Scholarships for academic and associated costs so that Navy SEALs and their families can further their education without any financial burden.
We are very excited to be supporting such a noble cause!
Support our Brothers, Support our SEALs.
