Dear family and friends,
Growing up in the area, I've been priveleged enough to watch the Boston Marathon every year. As a young child, I often dreamt of being one of the runners and this year, at 18, I am finally old enough for that dream to come true. I feel so lucky to have been given a 2018 Boston Marathon bib and am committed to raising donations and awareness for The Arredondo Family Foundation. While I am proud to be running my first ever marathon, I am even more proud to be supporting the brave men and women your donations will go to. The Arredondo Family Foundation's mission is to empower military families in the prevention of military related suicides and to provide support through education, financial relief and support services.
Donations contribute to the following:
*Training of military families and friends to understand mental health crisis and suicide prevention techniques among their active duty service members and veterans and military family members in order to reduce the number of military-related suicides
*Providing emergency fund assistance to military families who have experienced a suicide
*Providing educational assistance to military siblings who seek a college education
Please help me reach my $6,500 goal and bring awareness to an important cause. I have until May 16, 2018 to complete my fundraising. Your donations will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you so much,
