Have you ever stopped to consider what it would be like to have to be carried everywhere, to forever rely on crutches or an ill-fitting inappropriate wheelchair, or to live a life surrounded in silence?
Yordi, Millie, and Lupita did until ARSOBO reached out and offered help. ARSOBO provides devices to Mexican families at a price they can afford and subsidizes the manufacturing cost for those who need financial assistance.
We need your help to continue this work in northern Mexico. This is a vibrant country with caring people where poverty is endemic and medical insurance is minimal to non-existent.
Your tax-deductible contribution goes directly toward materials and labor:
*$300 for an all-terrain wheelchair
*$400 for a prosthesis
*$100 for a hearing aid
*any donation, no matter the amount, will go toward these direct costs
Clients with disabilities due to congenital deafness, polio, cerebral palsy, or diabetic and traumatic amputations are able to pay a minimal expense to obtain these life-changing devices.
These devices mean the world to clients who otherwise could never even hope to afford them. But they don’t come for free. ARSOBO spends 8,000 USD every month to keep their doors open. Most of ARSOBO's donors are people like yourself who know that kindness transcends all borders.
In addition to providing low-cost, life-changing devices, ARSOBO trains and hires individuals with the disability that requires the medical device they build for others. ARSOBO’s mission is to help people integrate with their community, making it possible for children to return to school and for adults to seek employment.
Thank you so much for helping.
