As you know my daughter was born with a hearing impairment called
Her name is Arya and she’s currently receiving speech therapy at Clarke School.
Clarke School serves children from birth to age 5; through early intervention, preschool, mainstreaming, speech and language, and evaluation services.
Although, this school is supported by the government, it is also supported by donations that help the school to cover the expenses of all the extra services they provide for children with the same impairment/disability as Arya.
My Wife and I, are currently part of a fundraiser committee to an event to
raise awareness and support for children who are deaf or have hearing disability.
As a consequence, we will part of a walk that will take place at the Bronx Zoo on June 3rd. In this activity $20 per person you will be able to obtain access to the zoo, plus a free shirt with Arya’s team. Also, lunch will be served.
Furthermore, we have also created a donation page under my daughter's name. Our goal is to raise $2.000 dollars that will be donated under Arya’s name, to show all the love and support that they brought to our family.
We hope to count with you.
