In 2008 my dad was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, he underwent treatment at that time, and around the 5 years in remission mark his numbers started to change again. Remission was no longer in the cards, but treatments for management were available and continue to be the reason my dad is almost a 10 year survivor (September of this year).
Without organizations such as Imerman Angels taking into consideration that cancer doesn't only affect the patient but also the families, the fight would be so much more difficult.
Being a part of this team to raise funds to allow for all fighters to not be in the fight alone is SUCH as important thing for me. I can't wait to cross that finish line in October knowing I raised donations towards such as an amazing cause!
