Hi friends! In two months I will be running the Chicago Marathon as a part of the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation team in support of my new brother Kyle. Some of you may not know, but the first race Nick ever ran was part of a UMDF fundraiser. He ultimately joined the St. Ignatius Cross Country team and ended up at Xavier - where we met as teammates. I like to think Kyle played the biggest role in bringing us together :D which is why I'm so excited to join UMDF in their efforts to help patients and families and provide life-changing research around mitochondrial disease.

Running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is the pinnacle of achievement for elite athletes and everyday runners alike. On race day, runners from all 50 states and more than 100 countries will set out to accomplish a personal dream by reaching the finish line in Grant Park. The UMDF's Team Hope Energy Life has participated in the marathon for the past 7 years as a charity partner, and we are excited for our 8th year as a partner with this world-class event.
