Our team of 3 has been working hard and pushing our bodies to the limits to train for the Girls Gone RX Los Angeles crossfit competition held on October 20, 2018 at our Iron Battalion Crossfit gym to help raise money and awareness about Bright Pink. Bright Pink is an organization very near and dear to our hearts as it helps women in their fight for breast and ovarian cancer. We are dedicating this journey we are embarking upon in memory of Joan Roman and the Onofre family's Tia Carmen and in honor of Aunt Debi, Stacey Wilcox Burgess, Aunt Mo, and to all the other girls and women out there who have fought this battle before or are fighting it now in hopes that no one else will have to battle this type of cancer again. We are determined to train and compete with all our might despite the many injuries , sore muscles, and bruises we acquire along the way because this in no way compares to the hardship many women have to endure battling breast and ovarian cancer. Please donate any amount you can! No amount is too little!!! Our fundraising total is worth 8% of our total score in the competition so your donation will directly help us get a better score in the competition while at the same time raising money for such a worthy cause. Thank you in advance from the bottom of our hearts!!!
All our love,
Laura, Nicole, Jen (and Kristi- team training partner and former battalion babes for boobies teammate)
