If you've followed my link here, you know how important Chelsea's Light Foundation is to me and my family. I thank you endlessly for stopping here and giving to the organization.
Chelsea lived in the same town I did when tragedy struck. At the time I had no children of my own but like most everyone else, I felt so deeply affected and mourned with the rest of our town, our county, our state.
Chelsea inspired me to finally run my first race. Something I had been putting off for a lifetime. The race in 2011 was an event so inspiring, so raw, so beautiful. I cried the first 2 miles. My heart was lifted so high seeing the thousands of people that came together to finish this race for her. I have yet to run a race aside from the subsequent FCR every year that have elicited the same feelings.
As most of you that know me are aware, we don't miss an opportunity to support the foundation in any way we can. Be it by volunteering, sharing social media, donating directly or simply sharing Chelsea's story and spreading the word. Our goal is to ensure that Chelsea's Light shines forever. Thank you for your part in helping to make that happen.
We love you and God bless you.
