On June 22nd, I will again ride my bike 200 miles from West Des Moines to Okoboji, in support of the victims of human trafficking in both Nepal and sadly right around us, in our own home state of Iowa. As a board member and 4 year participant for BTC200, I fully support our mission to help the horrible treatment of young girls and women who deserve much better. There are three phases to fighting human trafficking: prevention, extrication, and restoration. The Okoboji 200 will directly support the effort to restore human traffic victims in Nepal and Des Moines by supporting “safe homes” for former human traffic victims. If you feel compelled to help, we would love to have support our BTC200 Team to help fight this issue. Thank you for your contribution, encouragement and prayers.
