Many students in Nicaragua get only one proper meal a day, which is from their schools. But many schools in Nicaragua do not have their own kitchens to prepare and serve the meal. Often, the school has to prepare the food in unsanitary conditions, and when it rains, it is hard for them to store the food not to mention prepare the food.
With a Good Kitchen built in San Ramon elementary school, it promises proper meals to all 108 students. Students can enjoy the meals that are prepared and served in sanitary conditions without worrying about getting sick. Also, there will not be any problems with storing the food, so school administrations do not have to worry about food rations.
$15,000 will cover the construction of the kitchen and $5,000 will be used for food and other expenses. Not just 108 students but the whole community will benefit from this one Good kitchen.
To make this happen, we need your help. Your small tax-deductible gift will empower families in Nicaragua to dream of a better future!
