Now more than ever, public discourse is focused on cycles of abuse and assault, and what needs to be done to end these cycles. Here at the Center Against Domestic Violence, we are working not only to ensure that victims and their children have a safe place to seek shelter, but to break the behavioral patterns that make our shelters and services crucial.
Our Relationship Abuse Prevention Program (RAPP) helps teach teens how to healthily cope with and process their emotions, in an effort to prevent relational aggression. These programs are critical to helping New York City eradicate domestic violence.
Give a valuable gift this #GivingTuesday--the gift of protecting our cities, women and children.
