Camp Calumet is where i grew up, learned what i believed in, met my people, and fell in love with my roommate and life partner, Spencer. in a few weeks, I'll spend 36 hours in a van with 5 friends traveling all over New Hampshire to run 2.9, 6.5, and then 5.7 miles during this year's Reach the Beach Relay. There are 72 runners for Calumet this year, with a goal of raising $100,000 to make camp affordable for all kids.
Calumet is taking part in it's eight annual Reach The Beach: a two-day, 200 mile race across New Hampshire. This year, we have six teams of 12 participating in the run that starts at Bretton Woods and ends at Hampton Beach. Our goal is this year is to raise $100,000. Donations to support Reach The Beach go directly to help Calumet. EVERY KID SHOULD HAVE THE CHANCE TO COME TO CAMP. We're running Reach the Beach to support Calumet's goal of keeping the cost of camp as low as possible AND of granting camperships for any child who needs financial help. In 2016 Calumet provided campership awards in the amount of $110 to EVERY SINGLE camper, and additional support for those kids who needed special help covering the fees. Camp is expensive. This Reach the Beach fundraiser allows Calumet’s fee to be as low as possible thereby keeping in within reach for every family. Any amount you can give truly makes a huge difference. Thanks so much for your support!
