Last October, I lost my father to cancer. We were super close and losing him has been the hardest thing I have ever been through. I have been running for years and have always wanted to attempt a half marathon, although I never thought I would be able to push myself enough to run the distance. But since my Dad's death, running has been a way for me to channel my energy into something positive and I have been able to run farther and farther. When I found out that you could sign up for the BMO half marathon as a charity runner and run for the Canadian Cancer Society, I thought it would be such an awesome way to honor my Dad and I'm so excited to be running my first race in his memory! Please donate what you can, I super appreciate any help. I hope that someday no one will have to loose someone they love to cancer. F*ck cancer!

We are ALL fighting cancer.
Your Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer. We fund the research, prevention, and support services for those facing this terrible disease.
We have more impact, against more cancers, than any other cancer charity in Canada, and could not do what we do without the support of community members like you. Thank you :)
