On Saturday, October 5th, 2019, Connecticut Advocates for Parkinson’s (CAP) will hold a Gala to raise funds to benefit Wellness Programs for People with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) in Connecticut. The Gala, to be held at the Aqua Turf in Southington, will include dinner, open bar, live music and a silent auction.
The purpose of the Gala, and our organization (CAP), is to help people with PD in Connecticut, and to build, staff and operate a centralized wellness center for People With PD in Connecticut. We will make this a reality - with your help.
To do this, your support is critical. We are well respected in the Parkinson’s community for our efforts to make a difference both in wellness, and in research. Our organization exists with the desire to no longer be needed (by finding a cure) - but to do everything in our power to help those with PD while we are waiting.
With your help we hope to raise in excess of $100,000 at this event. We welcome and encourage your support. We are currently accepting donations, and will begin ticket sales later this year.
Thank you for your willingness to support our cause. For more information please visit www.parkinsonsct.org/gala .
