Please join us as we walk in solidarity to support those battling OCD in their daily lives. The Worthington GOALS support group is organizing this walk and funds we raise will benefit the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) for its research, education, and support of those with OCD. All are welcome to walk, including those with OCD, those who treat OCD or conduct related research, family, friends, and anyone with a supportive interest. You do not have to be a support group attendee to walk. Please spread the word! Financial contributions welcome, but not required. You can register here (Click the "Register" button), or make a donation to any registered walker (Click the "Donate Now" button). Walks will be occurring all over the country, and in some other countries, too.
If you register, you will be asked to choose a t-shirt size; if you raise at least $25 (donated to you, not just to the team, by people who click on your name to make a donation), by May 7, you'll receive a 2018 "1MillionSteps4OCD" walk t-shirt from the IOCDF. So, if you want a t-shirt, first register, then in a second step, donate at least $25 to yourself or ask others to make donations to you before May 7. (The shirt will be mailed to you in time for the walk.)
When: Sunday, June 3, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. (Gather at 2:00. Walk starts at 2:30.)
Where: Antrim Park, at 5800 Olentangy River Road, on the east side of the road about half a mile south of 161 (aka Dublin Granville Road). Drive down the path to the parking lot, park, and walk under the underpass to meet us on the deck of the lake.
What: Walk two laps around the lake (almost 2.5 miles) or more or less if you prefer.
Bring: Yourself, friends/family, and your t-shirt if you have one (wear it)
Provided: Bottled water and snacks, good company!
