Our chronically homeless men and women without children are fed and have a place to sleep most nights at local temp shelters . Local employers don't want to hire them, making them be trapped in this daily cycle having no money to acquire the things they need and may want to live a better quality of life. This is why panhandling is going on, imagine yourself without money for long periods that can be a terrible experience. So we want to address these 2 main issues EMPLOYMENT & PERM HOUSING OPPORTUNITY in order to end homelessness. Being that no one want to hire these good people in our community keeping them crowding up our library, local park and transit bus station and walking around looking for opportunity(panhandling) until the soup kitchen open and head back to those spots until the temp shelter re-open pretty much on a string daily can't go too far or they may miss out on a lunch or bed for the night trapped in that cycle.
So our solution to CRUSH that cycle by not depending on those local employers to provide job opportunity (discriminating) is by opening a full car wash service hiring them directly ourselves giving them that opportunity to thrive and rise up again being on the path to end their current homelessness journey.
