I have made the conscious decision to be more involved in things that make me happy and fulfilled. It's not a new year's resolution, but will hopefully be an ongoing one. One way is to help people. I am making an effort to do this through The New York Foundling, by joining their Junior Board. As a member I have the opportunity to use my network as well as other means to raise funds for the charity's various projects. I also hope to get my hands dirty by volunteering my time where needed. The New York Foundling does amazing work with children, families and adults with disabilities and is often a dire resource in places like Puerto Rico. Any cause involving children is one dear to my heart, and this festive season I'm setting up this page to push for charitable giving during a time when many people need a little extra help. Being a mother, I truly believe all children deserve the opportunity to be cared for, loved and motivated to make something of themselves. There are so many who are not afforded this, but we can make a difference for them. Every little bit counts/helps, so please consider making a donation this festive season and know that your contribution will help make a difference in someone's life. Thank you in advance and Happy Holidays to all!
The New York Foundling wrote - With the help of donors like you, The New York Foundling cares for thousands of under-served children, families and vulnerable individuals every day, all year-round. As you prepare to share the holiday season with family and friends, we hope you'll consider supporting this important work with a gift, of any size, to our annual campaign. A gift to The Foundling means giving the gift of family, empowerment, new beginnings, future, opportunity and independance for someone in need. Thank you! Learn more at www.nyfoundling.org
